Bistro 74

In December 2014, HelioArt has installed four works by Yongrae Kwon at Bistro 74 in Myeongdong Cathedral, including a new work by the artist in 2014. We selected and proposed Kwon's beautiful works, which reflect the colours of the paint in the wide-ceilinged space and natural light of the café. Yongrae Kwon's work, which allows light to linger rather than depicting it, subtly blends with the café's lighting and space. The mesmerising illusions created by his work are subtle by day and intensely colourful by night at Bistro 74.
헬리오아트는 2014년 12월 부터 명동성당에 위치한 Bistro 74 에 권용래 작가의 2014년 신작을 포함한 4점을 설치 하였습니다. 넓은 천장의 공간과 자연광이 들어오는 이 카페에 반사 되는 빛이 물감의 색을 담고 있는 아름다운 권용래 작가의 작품을 선정 및 제안하였습니다. 빛을 묘사하여 그려내는 것이 아닌 빛이 머무를 수 있는 작업을 하는 권용래 작가의 작품이 은은하게 카페의 조명 및 공간과 어울러지는 모습입니다. 그의 작품이 만들어 내는 황홀한 일루전은 Bistro 74에서 낮에는 은은함을 그리고 밤에는 강렬한 색채감을 선사합니다.
