Seunghye Hong

홍승혜 작가는 화면 구성의 기본 단위인 벽돌 한 장, 집 하나를 세포에 비유한다. 그의 작업은 컴퓨터에 의해 생산되고 pixel의 덧셈과 뺄셈에 의해 그려지지만 결국은 작가의 개입에 의해, 미세한 크기의 변화나 배열의 조율에 의해, 기하적인 세포들은 유연하고 불규칙한 화면을 이룬다. 이렇게 사이버 공간에서 유기적인 수학 또는 유기적 기하학의 이미지가 작가를 만나 따스하고, 섬세한 작업으로 전환된다.
