My work is light.
I do not introduce light in order to complete a work; rather, light itself is the material, the method, and the expression.
I do not depict light—I allow it to remain.
Human beings are each a form of light.
Their cultures, the histories they create, and the lives they live are all light.
Light precedes objects.
My art is light. I do not use light as a means to an end.
Light itself is both essence and expression.
I do not attempt to represent light; I strive to receive it.
Human beings are light in themselves.
Humanity—its culture, its history, its life—is light.
Light leads, and matter follows.
나의 작품은 빛이다. 작품을 완성하기 위해 빛을 도입하는 것이 아니라 빛 그 자체가 재료이자 기법이며 표현이다. 빛을 그려내는 것이 아니라 빛이 머물 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 인간은 하나의 빛이다. 그들의 문화도, 그들이 이루어나가는 역사도 또 그들이 영위하는 삶도 빛인 것이다. 빛은 사물에 앞서는 것이다. 내 예술은 가볍습니다. 나는 빛을 빛의 수단으로 사용하지 않습니다. 빛 자체가 본질이자 표현입니다. 나는 빛을 표현하려고 하지 않지만 그것을 수용하려고 노력합니다. 인간은 그 자체로 빛입니다. 인류, 즉 문화, 역사, 삶은 빛입니다. 빛이 이끌고 물체가 따라옵니다.
